This exquisite pendant brooch is made in 19th century and comprised of 14 karat gold with many beautiful pearls. It features an etched and engraved surface of leaves and the centered flower is inlaid with precious pearls. This lovely pendant brooch is three-dimensional, giving it visual interest when viewed from different angles. Triangle-shaped gold drops inlaid with pearls hang beneath the top. The eyelet can also be taken off the pendant, so it can be worn as a brooch.
There is a silver area on the back of the brooch, which may have been a solder repair. Two pearls are missing. Despite the solder and missing pearls, this historical brooch is in good antique condition and ready to wear or to be gifted. This fine brooch would make a marvelous addition to an antique Victorian jewelry collection. The brooch comes in a beautiful jewelry box.
The gold has the Dutch purity hallmark.
